Information Technology Manager City of Dublin 2008 to 2009 Provided direct supervision over staff for the Support and GIS areas of IT Department Managed tier 1 and 2 support for Novell, ZenWorks, Groupwise email system, Active Directory, Cisco Call manager, many specialized applications and other services. Acting Director while Director away on leave of absence. During this time submitted Operation portion of the $2.2M IT budget. Operation portion included maintenance agreements, all specials services including mobile phones, professional support, and support for current and planned projects. Coordinated and managed support resources to be used by project leaders on various projects. Researched, compiled, and submitted all needed information for city’s first ever reporting of its performance measurements statistics. Supplied Network and PC help, training and support. Coordinated more effective and efficient practices to improve customer service. Communicated policies, important information and procedures to staff citywide. Approver of IT purchases, payroll & timekeeping. Redesign of support service area for better flow, communication and effectiveness improving customer service. Performed in depth formal analysis of IT support.
