Director of Information Technology  Franklin County Court of Common Pleas 2006 to 2008

Managed and directed ALL IT staff and functions for separate network serving the General division of the court.

Directed all activities for network LAN environments using TCP/IP protocol, Ethernet, switches, and firewalls (Cisco), and containing IBM Domino system to deliver email and other functions.

Provided Network function and support to Domestic and Juvenile division of the court.

Part of the executive board of directors.

Liason of the General division for all cross departmental activities with the Franklin County Data Center, Domestic and Juvenile division, Franklin County Clerk of Courts, Probation Court and State Supreme court.

Oversaw Network and PC help, training and support.

Created committee of various staff to collaborate on redesign of court website.

Part of  cross function teams to improve proprietary  record system on the mainframe and bid for integrated E-Filing functionality.

Main person responsible for all IT Purchasing, Data plan, and $1M IT portion of court budget. Conducted negotiations with vendors and reviewed contracts.  Managed maintenance agreements, consultant services.

Project management of projects including web site development, network revamping, changed security administration, and integration/interconnection with other systems and organizations.

Data extraction from systems and databases as well as analysis and reporting.

Manages IS staff. Performs as backup on many tasks related to HR and payroll activities including mediation, hiring, handling conflicts and/or sensitive or confidential data and information, and payroll & timekeeping issues.
